Insuring your vessel is the best way to protect your investment! This type of boat inspection serves several purposes. The first, to insure that your vessel is properly insured for damage or loss. Secondly, it is to satisfy the insurance company's risk reward ratio. In addition, you and the insurance company have a complete and current valuation of your vessel. Your marine insurance survey will be valid for three years from date of boat survey

Damage Survey

Damage Surveys are usually requested to help resolve legal disputes, insurance settlement claims, and accident issues. A Damage Survey will provides an accurate report of the condition and damages to the vessel. Additionally, an investigation is conducted to determine the cause of damages. Captain Trip Vawter is licensed, qualified, and experienced in performing accident and fraud investigations. His Damage Surveys, investigations, and recommendations for repairs and costs have proven successful  for his clients. Several times a year, he also serves as an expert witness in court cases to help settle disputes and claims.

USCG Marine Safety Manuals & Information

"Unlike most in the industry, I have an extensive background in the insurance business. Currently, I am a licensed insurance claims adjuster/appraiser and I service clients needing surveys for resolve in claims and loss marine related issues. I am a licensed insurance agent as well, however, I do not sell insurance policies, especially marine insurance; as I feel it would be a conflict of interest to my survey clientele. I am well versed in what an insurance company is looking for and how to deliver. What insurance underwriters won't tell you; beware of insurance agencies with so called accepted surveyors lists. Insurance agencies depend on a target market that relies on interconnected business relationships. In Layman's terms, surveyors may receive kick backs for recommending insurance companies and vice versa. Membership fees are often exchanged to be on preferred lists. Your boat survey needs to be performed by a non-biased surveyor for you to get what you are paying for. All Florida Marine Survey never pays for its referrals. Nor do we pay to be on anyone's preferred list.
I work for you, the client.
